Thomas McLaughlin

President and CTO

NXi’s President and Chief Technology Officer since its inception. Mr. McLaughlin received a liberal arts degree, a degree Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering, and two years of graduate school in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Utah.

Mr. McLaughlin holds 12 patents in diverse fields, but has concentrated in the communications field since 1992.

Product development at NXi is a collaborative effort among NXi’s engineers and programmers. Mr. McLaughlin’s role has been to understand customer needs and match these with NXi’s technology in setting the company’s direction.

Casey Wright

Director of Engineering

Education:
Mr. Wright has an excellent grasp of the over-all operation of the large NTS platform. In particular, he is responsible for the "middle layers" within NTS, including the Call Service, Call Data Recording, Call Flow Processor and related gateways. Mr. Wright coordinates developer activities and helps set priorities.

Paul Daugherty

Developer

Education:
Developer, Team Lead in platform infrastructure development.
Mr. Daugherty is responsible for the lower levels in the NTS platform, and also coordinates much of the automated testing within the platform.

Mike Cropper

Developer

Education:
Developer, Team Lead in client-side development.
Mr. Cropper heads NXi’s client-side development including the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of the client software.

Alan Call

Developer

Education:
Developer, Team Lead in telephony gateways and scripting applications.
Among other duties, Mr. Call has headed NXi’s telephony gateway development since 1997 including analog line, T1/E1 trunks, and SIP/VoIP gateways.
